Progress Billingالفوترة المرحليةAn invoicing method where customers are billed incrementally as milestones are reached rather than upon final project completion. Critical for contracting businesses.
Retentionالاستقطاع / الضمانA portion of a contract payment (typically 5% to 10%) withheld by the client until a project is completed and verified defect-free.
WIPالأعمال تحت التنفيذWork in Progress. An asset account representing costs accumulated for inventory or projects that are currently under construction or development but not yet completed.
Landed Costالتكلفة الإجمالية للوصولThe total cost of an inventory shipment, including the purchase price, freight, shipping insurance, customs duties, and local logistics costs.
WHTضريبة الاستقطاعWithholding Tax. Tax withheld at the source from payments made to non-residents for services rendered within Saudi Arabia.
GLدفتر الأستاذ العامGeneral Ledger. The master record of all financial transactions within the organization, containing accounts for assets, liabilities, equity, revenues, and expenses.
EOSBمكافأة نهاية الخدمةEnd-of-Service Benefits. A mandatory severance payment calculated under Saudi Labor Law based on an employee's final salary and duration of service.

RAGRetrieval-Augmented Generation. An AI technique that combines a generative LLM with a vector retrieval system to generate accurate, context-rich responses grounded in local company data.
RTLRight-to-Left. Layout model for written scripts (like Arabic) that flow from the right side of the screen/page to the left.
CSIDCryptographic Stamp Identifier. A certificate issued by ZATCA to authenticate electronic billing systems during invoice clearance/reporting. Includes CCSID (compliance) and PCSID (production).
UBL 2.1Universal Business Language 2.1. The standardized XML schema specified by ZATCA for electronic invoice transmission.
Base64 TLVTag-Length-Value. A binary encoding scheme used to represent e-invoice QR codes, which are subsequently encoded in Base64 for rendering.
FWCRFirst-Workflow-Completion-Rate. The north-star product adoption metric for BayanCore, representing the percentage of workflows successfully finished on the first attempt without errors.
RBACRole-Based Access Control. Security model that restricts system access to authorized users based on their defined role (e.g., Accountant, Approver, Executive).
