🤖 AI Strategy & Overview
BayanCore incorporates an Intelligence Layer designed to act as an active assistant for every business employee. Rather than implementing general-purpose conversational chatbots, our AI strategy focuses on specialized, workflow-embedded agents operating under deterministic safety guardrails.
1. Core AI Principles
All AI features within BayanCore must adhere to five non-negotiable principles:
- Assistive, Not Autonomous: AI suggests and drafts transactions; humans validate and approve. The system is programmatically blocked from committing financial journal entries or salary postings autonomously.
- In-Kingdom Processing: To comply with PDPL, all embedding calculations, vector index lookups, and LLM inference tasks execute entirely on GPU clusters located inside Saudi Arabia.
- Strict Data Isolation: Customer datasets are siloed at database and index levels. The system does not train general models on customer transaction records.
- Deterministic Cross-Referencing: Numerical data generated by the LLM (e.g. totals extracted via OCR) are programmatically verified against structured database records before display.
- Bilingual Design: AI interfaces process code-switching (bilingual Arabic/English syntax) and Saudi regional dialects naturally.
2. AI Maturity Model
Our development roadmap moves through three operational phases:

Phase 1: Assistive RAG & Extraction (Pilot Stage)
- Capabilities: Read-only question answering (RAG) over financial policies and invoice histories. Basic OCR document extraction for receipt receipts.
- Focus: Saving administrative time on data entry and policy lookups.
Phase 2: Active Orchestration (Current Phase)
- Capabilities: Multi-turn tool calling. The AI maps user intent to schema-validated API actions, drafting records (e.g., POs, quotations) and routing approval cards to managers.
- Focus: Accelerating core sales and procurement cycles.
Phase 3: Autonomic Compliance (Future Horizon)
- Capabilities: Closed-loop automated task execution (e.g., bank reconciliation matching) running in the background with continuous audit logs and auto-rollback boundaries.
- Focus: Reaching a zero-touch daily operating state.
